Giving Back to Breast Cancer Prevention Partners
A big part of Everviolet’s mission is to support important organizations making a difference in the breast cancer space. Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (BCPP) is one of our favorites, as they are the leading science-based policy and advocacy organization working to eliminate toxic chemicals and other environmental exposures linked to breast cancer — a huge mission we can get behind.
We’re teaming up with BCPP again this year and sponsoring tickets to their virtual 2022 LUNAFEST Film Festival — a benefit screening of films made by women, about women. That is why BCPP is working to eliminate other known risk factors linked to breast cancer, in order to save lives and prevent the disease before it starts. For 30 years, they have been the leading science-based policy and advocacy organization working to eliminate men's and women's exposure to toxic chemicals and other environmental exposures linked to breast cancer. A few ways they are making an impact are by working with communities most highly impacted by the environmental exposures, translating science into education and action and pushing businesses to make products safer and pass health-protective laws.
